Melissa Mercogliano, PT, DPT, OCS (Clinic Founder)

Melissa graduated from the University of Puget Sound Physical Therapy program in 1988. In 2006, she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She is an APTA board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and also has her certification in edema management.
Melissa is the owner and clinical manager of the Center for Orthopedic and Lymphatic Physical Therapy and is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Puget Sound in their Physical Therapy program.

Elizabeth "Liz" Kirbow, DPT

Elizabeth returned to school after working in the medical field for many years. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) form the University of Puget Sound in 2009. She has been a member of the COLPT staff since graduation.
Liz is experienced in orthopedic and swelling disorders evaluation and treatment and she has a passion for treating patients with balance and vestibular issues. She is the program director for our balance and fall prevention program.


Jennifer Henriksen, MPT, OCS

Jennifer graduated with her Master of Rehabilitation Science in Physical Therapy in 2005 from The Medical University of South Carolina, and is an APTA board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Jennifer comes to COLPT with ten years of clinical practice in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation.


Fiaer Foster, PT

Fiaer graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1997 and continued her education abroad in Aberdeen, Scotland. There she practiced Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) around the Grampian region for five years until relocating to the sunnier climate of Bermuda. She returned home to the US in 2006. Fiaer is also a certified teacher in Australian Modified Mat Physiotherapy Pilates. She has worked in various healthcare settings with all age groups and has chosen to work in an outpatient setting.


Laura Vey, PTA

Laura began her medical career serving as a Medic in the United States Army while stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. After her military career she worked as a Medical Assistant before starting her career in Physical Therapy. Laura worked as a Physical Therapy Aide before graduating from Green River Community College in 1996 with an Associates in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Laura has over 18 years experience in Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy.


Sharleen Kajiyama, PTA

Sharleen enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Financial Management Comptroller Journeyman after graduating from Central Kitsap High School in 2002. She served for three years and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004. She separated early to help care for her father who became a quadriplegic which helped find her passion for Physical Therapy. She attended Olympic College in Poulsbo, WA and recieved her Associates in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2011. Sharleen loves spending time with her family, running and trying new foods.


Ashley Cherry-Allen, Front Office Supervisor

Ashley is a Pacific Northwest native that has worked in the medical field since 2010, joining our practice in May of 2013. She performs a variety of tasks behind the scenes within the practice in order to help make sure that all of our patients experiences here go as smoothly as possible. She oversees the functions of the front office staff which includes scheduling, insurance verifications and authorizations, insurance claims, as well as backoffice support for the therapists.
